Groupon Procedures

Thanks for purchasing our Groupon!

The first thing you will need to do is go through our Basics program where we teach you the movements that you will need to learn in order to safely participate in the classes. The Basics are the first 4 sessions of your Groupon class package.  The Basics are progressive in nature where you will learn movements and then do a workout using some of those movements during each Basics session.

Let us know which Basics program you are interested in attending, CrossFit or Kettlebell and we will get you scheduled.

Just to give you a little more information, CrossFit is a high intensity functional training program that is a different workout each day.  Our workouts incorporate gymnastics or bodyweight movements (i.e. push-ups, pull-ups), cardio (running, rowing) and strength (deadlifts, squats, shoulder presses, etc).  Our CrossFit classes are generally one hour long while we do hold some express classes that are 30 minutes.

We use CrossFit programming with our Kettlebell classes but rather than using barbells for the movements, we use Kettlebells.  Kettlebells have their own unique movements that are specific to kettlebells and cannot always be duplicated with dumbbells or barbells.  Kettlebells are a full body movement increasing joint strength, stability, and agility both laterally and bilaterally. All of our Kettlebell classes are 30 minutes because Kettlebell work really takes a toll on your grip.

That being said, it really comes down to your personal preference.  For whichever program you choose, you have to go through our Basics program (each one has its own individual Basics program).  Let us know which direction you would like to take and we will get you started.

Each Basics program is progressive in nature and all 4 sessions must be completed successively in order to meet the prerequisite for participating in the group classes.

Please allot 60-90 minutes for each CrossFit Basics session and 30-60 minutes for each Kettlebell Basics session.

You will first need to register in our online system.  Click here.

Once your online registration is complete, email us at owners@arenalfitness.com to let us know which set of Basics you would like to reserve.  Space is limited, first come first serve.  Basics sessions will continue to be added as sessions fill up.

You do not need to do anything else.  We will take care of redeeming your Groupon, putting your Basics appointments in your Online Schedule, and you will be sent an email confirming your slot.
