Starting CrossFit
Our CrossFit (CF) class program provides limited capacity group training for each of our participants. Our instructors focus on functional training form and technique for each individual exercise in order for our CFitters to perform their workout routine in proper biomechanical form (having your skeleton move with the greatest ease, performance, power, and efficiency) which in turn increases their performance in living through every aspect of their life.
While the CF program is an overall general conditioning program mixing strength, cardio, and gymnastics/body weight exercises, it also offers a wide variety of training focuses such as kettlebells, body weight, football(field sports training), olympic lifting, and endurance.
The end result of any activity or venture is never successful without learning the basics first. CrossFit Arenal is no different.
We realize that functional training is somewhat of a new concept for many people. To be a true CrossFitter, one must learn some basic movements in order to safely perform a CrossFit workout and experience the result of what a true CrossFit workout can bring you; peak performance during a workout, peak performance throughout your activities of daily living and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone in order to achieve new goals every day of your life.
Our Basics program is designed to teach you the “Basic” movements of functional training in order to ease your comfort into a new workout regimen. Basics are scheduled by appointment. They are a mandatory prerequisite to participation in our group classes and are highly recommended for our General Memberships.
Basics is offered either in 4 classes (Basics 101) or 8 classes (Basics 201). Each class consists of learning several movements and then completing a workout putting some of the movements into action.
If you choose to go through Basics 201, each of your classes are guaranteed one-on-one and covers many more exercises than just the foundational movements.

a. Click on Series and Memberships to select Basics.
b. E-mail owners@arenalfitness.com to let us know which of the following dates work best for you for your Basics appointments.

c. Once you complete Basics, click on Contracts to select which membership contract works best for your fitness goals.
